Scott Reed, began singing publicly with his family when he was three years old, although he rarely enjoyed performing. He saved his own money and paid for guitar lessons, dreaming of being a rock star. Though he continued to sing, it took years before he combined love of the guitar and singing. He now feels called of God — not just to perform — but to teach others the joy of musical praise and worship. Following college graduation with a degree in physical education and religion, Scott moved to Nashville where he met a true Southern Belle, Holly Burke. They were married in 1999 and moved to Irvine, California where they were instrumental in "planting" a new church. On August 28, 2002 their first child, Thomas Isaiah, was born - "he is the joy of our lives!" Tommy is now 2 1/2 years old and ready to join Daddy on the church worship team. He mimics both Daddy's singing and guitar playing, but his real love seems to lie with the "tat-tat" -- drums! You will see his joy of the instruments in the pictures included in this bio. We'll see if 2005 will hold a sibling for Tommy...?!
